My Thought For This Friday (07/26/19) - Fairness in praising

Fairness is important when praising some one in front of others. Ensure that you are not doing it at the expense of others, not selectively praising one for the same thing you did praise another in the group, and over doing it beyond what is deserved. Such unfair praising causes long-term damage to others in the team for the short-term gain in lifting one person in the group. 

My Thought For This Friday (07/19/19) - Compliments

Compliment someone as soon as possible. Many times it is not that we don’t want to do it. We are just so busy that we tend to forget. Later, you don’t want to regret that you will never get a chance to share that with that person. When I hear people speak in a funeral or reminisce in an obituary, I always wondered, if they got to say this to that person when he/she was alive.

Money: gaining it is hard but expending it is easy

My Thought For This Friday (07/05/19) - Crying

An incessant crying child in a transcontinental flight reminded me that we do indeed cry less as we age. Perhaps the ability to speak replaces crying as we grow up and we save it only for those situations when words are not within reach.
